"WHAT SHE DOES IS AMAZING AND COMPLETELY DIFFERENT
THAN ANYTHING I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED."
I had the chance to experience the wonders of, Into the Woods, today. Rachelle did an amazing job! She took the time to get to know me, and my body. I felt very comfortable, calm, and extremely peaceful. What she does is amazing and completely different than anything I have ever experienced. If you have problems with chronic pain, anxiety, or just looking for a way to separate yourself from your mind and work for even a few minutes then she is the girl to turn to. I highly recommend reaching out to Rachelle at Into The Woods Wellness!

"YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED."
"Rachelle is an amazing wellness coach. She uses intellectual techniques, and doesn't utilize any trendy weight loss or 'quick fix' regimens. It's about long term wellness with her approach. You won't be disappointed with any services she offers."

"I WOULD AND DO RECOMMEND HER WHOLE HEARTEDLY."
"Rachelle always takes the time to figure out what I need on any particular occasion, and address that. That can take a lot of different shapes but it is always just what I needed. I would, and do, recommend her whole heartedly."

"OUR JOURNEY TOGETHER HAS CHANGED MY LIFE EXPERIENCE FROM A TRAVELER TO A PARTICIPANT."
As I look back on our three years (I think it has been three, but it could be four…yikes!) and the stressful things you have helped me negotiate and embrace, I am awed at the place we started and where we are now. I can’t say, ‘I couldn’t have done this without you’, but because of you, it has been a joy and not a misery. The support of my Thursday morning sanctuary always opens my world for me just a little bit more. There are not words that can thank you enough for that. You make my life so much better, and for that and all the other things that make you, that funny, brave, exploring, curly headed person that torcheres me, I also love you.
I came to Rachelle for fitness and health and got comprehensive, wholistic, emotional, psychological and physical growth that has allowed me to participate in my life in a more engaged, complete way. I couldn’t have asked for what I got, because I wouldn’t have known what to ask for.

"RACHELLE'S ABILITY TO CAPTIVATE WAS OUTSTANDING."
"I attended a wellness workshop with instructor, Rachelle Ballard. The content of the workshop was absolutely sensational and Rachelle's ability to captivate the audience was outstanding. Her love for people, health, and overall wellness is undeniable and I am thrilled to be enrolled in another class coming up in October 2015."

"I FOUND RACHELLE IN A PRETTY TOUGH TIME IN MY LIFE, AND SHE HELPED ME WORK THROUGH IT."
It is pretty difficult to describe exactly what she does, but whatever it is, it works. I came away from each meeting with new tools to help me through the tough times, and I can use them all the time. I looked forward to every meeting, and the wonderfully comfortable and welcoming space we met in each week. Thank you Into The Woods Wellness!

"SHE ALWAYS KEPT IT FRESH, NEW, AND EXCITING."
"Rachelle is amazing. She was very flexible with my schedule and she was able to meet pretty much whenever I requested. I hired her to help me train to cycle across the country and she created workouts that I could replicate on my own time, as well as taught me the correct way to do workout moves so I wouldn't get injured. A great mix of sweat, fun, yoga, spinning, strength training and cardio. She always kept it fresh, new and exciting. She helped me a lot and I would recommend her to anyone who likes to workout outside with a wonderful person!"

"REFERRING TO RACHELLE BALLARD AS A “YOGA INSTRUCTOR” IS LIKE SAYING THE YOUNG MIKHAIL BARYSHNIKOV WAS “A DANCER.”"
"She brings to her practice a wisdom that is born of talent, intuition, focused intelligent study, and a truly soulful empathy. … Thus, as with Mikhail, Rachelle’s totality defies description. Only seeing is comprehending. … I recommend booking an appointment."

I want to take a moment to tell you about a remarkable woman and wellness coach.
Her name is Rachelle Ballard – she is my wellness coach. I can’t tell you how much she has helped me – there are so many ways.
Almost 2 years ago I started seeing Rachelle for 1 on 1 yoga practice. I had never done yoga before and I have a neck fusion so I had a strong desire for a personalized approach. I knew yoga would help my back issues and I also was aware that strengthening my core was key. That being said, I tend to be competitive even with myself so Rachelle was right there to remind me this wasn’t a competition but rather practice that I can use the rest of my life.
What began as yoga practice quickly moved to wellness coaching. Rachelle tailors sessions to you and your needs and she really LISTENS! She is also very intuitive so even if you don’t know what you need (which I frequently didn’t, especially early on) what we decide to do in our sessions really is what my body, mind, and spirit need at that moment in time.
I’ve been lucky enough to participate in one of Rachelle’s week long wellness retreats. I was on the Hawley Mountain Ranch retreat this past October. This trip was life changing for me. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful location. It was both relaxing and rejuvenating but also time for the hard work of self-discovery. There was no forcing this, just time available to explore and discover. As I said, life changing.
Rachelle has also been instrumental in referring me to some amazing practitioners that help me with areas where she doesn’t have the expertise. This is a very valuable trait – to be willing to say, this isn’t what I do so let’s get you with the right person to get you what you need.
Rachelle is wise beyond her years and truly has a gift. I am so grateful that I get to work with her. I have referred many, including my own daughter, to her practice and I have zero hesitation in recommending her to anyone.

"I HONESTLY DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START!"
"Before I met Rachelle I was full of self-doubt, I had no self-guidance on what I wanted my life to look like…I felt lost. Since then, I have been able to create and mold my everyday in the way I want it to be! The best thing is that Rachelle personalizes every session to you, whatever I need in that moment she makes sure I get it! She gives you tools, guidance, confidence and takes care of each and every client as if they were family. There is no doubt in my mind this is the best investment I have ever made for myself!"

"I spent most of my life talking negatively to myself; this includes subscribing to a destructive view of what it means to be healthy. Initially, I went to Rachelle to "be fixed" however, I am grateful that Rachelle reminded me that I don't need to be. Through patience, humor, and a little tough love, Rachelle teaches me ways to take care of myself that quiets my voice of self-deprecation. With her support I feel stronger and I have the tools to be grounded. The journey to wellness is tough, but Rachelle is the perfect guide."

For about 15 years I would try and find the most “effective” workouts I could. I had developed a fairly regular habit of going to the gym or working out at home that included Tim Ferris routines, lots of sweating, interval training, blah, blah, blah. Results would vary, and I defined results based on physical appearance which led to a never-ending loop of never doing enough. I need to eat better, I need to exercise more, I need to exercise harder. A constant internal dialogue of never being the self-defined “best physical version of myself.” Don’t get me wrong I love the way physical results represent hard work and I love the way I feel after exercise, even if it generally leads to being really hungry and having to figure out how to eat healthy when I am extra hungry.
The emotional relationship with my body was stuck in a loop that is just not sustainable long term. After having two children this has become even more apparent. Exhaustion and poor sleep are not the ideal foundation for healthy living.
Enter Rachelle. Rachelle is the most physically intuitive person I have ever met. When I would initially spend time with Rachelle I had a nagging voice in the back of mind that I wasn’t working out hard enough. Rachelle can work people out as hard as anyone, but the magic that was happening is that I was reconnecting with my body. Over time, I developed an ability to pay attention to my body that has allowed me to no longer fight with myself or have a sense of never getting where I want to go physically. Rachelle opened this world to me. I now have far more tools to push myself in ways I never did before and at the same time have the freedom and peace of mind to walk, breathe, and pay attention. I’m more at peace with my body than I have been in a long time and have practices that can stay with me into the oldest of ages.
Rachelle is not a trainer, she is an experiential teacher to understanding your body that can-not be learned in books. You have to experience her ability to sense people’s relationship with their physical selves. Whether someone is an olympian or hasn't moved in a year it doesn't matter. Through movement Rachelle is able to help a person reconnect with their body when it has been lost to cultural narratives, magazine covers, and insecurity.
This quote by Krista Tippet encapsulates my experience with Rachelle, “I’ve come to believe that our capacity to reach beyond ourselves—experiencing mystery or being present to others—is dependent on how fully we are planted in our bodies in all their flaws and their grace.” Rachelle has the rare gift of being able to transplant us back into our bodies.
